Venting time: 10 minutes
Kathy is not getting any emails from group-discussion on email addresses, protocols and policy. Next meeting 2 weeks before the relay race, suggest 6PM social time, 7PM begin meeting. Greg is having problems with training schedules. Some of us are feeling stress/anxiety as race day approaches. Publicity concerns - We need more publicity for our fundraising events.

Supplies - Sandra Kindblade
Thanks all for donations. First Aid kit has nearly everything needed for race. Some will loan/donate tarps. We need a few more items donated/purchased. Ice? Decided to freeze some bottled water, refrigerate rest.

Safety - Rita Wallberg
Change her job title from "Safety Engineer" to "Safety Chair." Rewiring done on first Xmas light string, need to test on 12volt car battery. Tim, Darby, Rita will loan tarps. Discussion on what personal items to bring/pack, limited cargo space a concern. Look into car top carriers. Will get more safety vests from KB's gram. Kathy to donate tempura paint, please don't return. Van 1 & Van 2 meet: Poles with flags/ beacon taped upright to van side with duct tape. Van Xmas lights to be turned on prior to next van's arrival to save on battery. Need light cones for pole tips, developed checklist for supply inventory. Light bulb colors to be decided @ next meeting.

Captains Reports - Susan Cunningham
Have 23 walkers now, 3 people got rejected waivers back from H2C, needs rework/correction. 4 need to pay $60. Team numbers are 2022 & 2052. Developed preliminary van seating/leg chart No start time yet. Both captains have made final practice schedules for August. Howard suggested renting a Porta Potti for our staging area @ Susan's place. Cost is $70/ day. We pay $2 per person? Ask for donation?
Greg - Got H2C handbook, have 12 runners, recently subbed one runner.

Camp - Kim Braun
Total for food estimated @ $621, camp @ $340. Divided by 60 = $16/ person. Divided by 72 = $14/ person. Need to add choices of meat (hamburger, hot dog) Equipment, food, tents, sleeping bags to be stored in Susan's garage, brought to camp by Bob, other volunteers. Discussion on food, pricing.

Transportation - Tim Kindblade
All rental vans come equipped with roof racks. They will be delivered to Susan's place. All drivers must show up @4PM for rental agreement signing. Immediately after race, one van can return early for those who need to be home early, or early flights.

Website Design - Patrick Fischer
Some haven't set up password access yet. Will change safety engineer to safety chair. Will fix password terms. Need to update event calendar more frequently. Photos on Website? Privacy concerns.

Design - Greg Coughlan
Team tank shirts quoted @ $325 for 36 copies. Shorts not included, but worked out deal with Insport to purchase red shorts @ $7 each. Designed dog party postcards. Mike passed around membership cards, for interested people to get all our info (signup, training schedules, tips, etc.) for $10/year. Still working on Thank You cards.

Public Relations - KatyBeth Anthony
Mailing lists, dog party, membership discounts. Total to date: 47 members. Some e-news need to be printed out & mailed to some sponsors. Website - add"Captain's Word"

Fundraiser - Teresa Finnigan
$1582.17 raised to date. Pancake feed $593. Baja Fresh $63, Can deposit collection added $53, total $255. Car wash dropped. Dog party last event. Discussion on future fundraising events for next year, Ideas: Wine & Cheese party, carwash, pizza, Dingo, art gallery, fashion show. Zoey needs help making cookies, sewing bags. Goal: $400.

Grants - Darby Smith
We are still working on getting a tax-exempt organization with the IRS. Read her handout later; submit feedback to her via email.

Treasurer - Kathy Butts-Bernunzio
Balance $3092.93

Chair - KatyBeth Anthony
Clarify terminology; use DPR&DPW, not DPR/DPW from now on. 3 PO Box keys: one each for treasurer, secretary and fundraiser. Update our letterheads, records, website with new PO Box address. Phillip: Sent his parents email saying positive things about him but we can't have him on actual race day due to several reasons. Dingo feedback: Kids participating in Dingo game. One kid won $50. Need to enforce 18 yr old & up rule.

Jennifer suggested developing a photo album.
