Chair – Patrick Fischer
7 Have signed up for the trip to Spokane for the annual Bloomsday Race. Still have space for 2 more. $73 per person, includes van rental, gas and hotel.
Jennifer has been doing a lot of work on fundraising, concern she might burn out. We need to lighten her load, teamwork.
We haven’t scheduled any practices till this morning. Need to be consistent, practice often.
New organization name? Will discuss in Old Business.
Secretary – Tim Kindblade
Gave thanks to those that helped him reconstruct the missing November minutes.
Treasurer – Kathy Bernunzio
Treasurer report shows a balance of $2135.45.
Fundraiser – Jennifer Hummel
Can Collection – ongoing. Raised $166.05 to date.
Pool game – ongoing. Teresa Finnegan will ask Canadian members to do pool.
Make sure pool is in US funds only. May drop pool next year.
Theresa Coughlan is almost done with DPR & DPW quilt, needs border, backing. Only DPR & DPW members will buy raffle tickets. Use quilt for promotion, sell tickets at events, practices, prerace & postrace parties. Post quilt picture on Internet. Delegate raffle ticket sales to Tish?
Baja Fresh, ongoing.
Yoga class, 15 signed up for 2nd class.
Bingo @ Chestnut Lane – They want us to volunteer for other activities there, such as open house, ice cream & pie social, etc. Need more information.
Pancake Feed – Sandra Kindblade reports. May 21st. Crew will donate food, items. Kathy Bernunzio, orange & apple juice, napkins and watermelons. Greg Coughlan, hard paper plates. Rita Wallberg, hot & cold cups. Howard Hammel, placemats & coffee. Jennifer Hummel/Mark Rosenblume, plasticware. Sandra Kindblade, sausages. Will email other DPR & DPW members if they want to volunteer or donate items. Patrick Fischer still has old pancake flyer, will update and send to PR. Mark Rosenblume will send it out 4x prior to May 21st. Kathy Bernunzio donated a signing angel, bath care basket and a Starbucks card for raffle. Meal tickets will cost $4.50 each. Food handlers license is required. Some of us will take the test, $10-$15 for certification.
Garage Sale – May 27th. Bring items 1 week prior, must pick up any unsold items.
Dog & Cat Party – We may drop if we have sufficient funds.

July 3rd to Aug 5th. – Will be out of town, assistant Cindi Oyster will take his place.

printed up new Liability, Public Relations and Medical releases, gave copies to both Team Captains.
Made a list of all medical and aid stations along Hood to Coast route. Will give one list to each van.
Transportation – Tim Kindblade
Still have 4 minivans reserved.
Will have driver’s meeting one week prior to race. Captains to choose 4 drivers each. Captains should not be primary driver.
Supply – Sandra Kindblade
Mark Rosenblume may donate stopwatch batteries, need to know size/type of batteries.
Still looking for replacement of expired items such as aspirin, ointment. Individual packages hard to find. Suggest she try Internet.
Decided to drop disposable cameras.
Larry C. Everett, photographer – took 130 photos of us during 2005 race, sold CD-ROM pictures. Copyright issue, didn’t ask us for permission. Patrick Fischer will contact him.
Add key lanyards to supply list.
Camp Chair – Sandra Kindblade
Got camp binder from Kim Braun.
Wright Campsite is reserved but they need to know total # of campers coming by June.
Will meet with Sue Teague soon to start planning for camp.
Walking Captain – Howard Hammel
Seven signed up & paid. 2 maybe. Most are hearing.
No assistant yet. Nominated Tim Kindblade
Practiced this morning at Duniway Park, 3-4 runners, 1 walker. Mikey Wilton came, lots of rain.
Greg Couglan and Howard developed a practice/training schedule. 1x month, then 2x month in summer. Tried to avoid conflicts with other events. Will send to Public Relations.
Will go ahead and pay registration fee of $852.00 to Hood to Coast for walking team.
Running Captain – Greg Coughlan
12 on team but only 5 paid.
Mark Rosenblume will help out when Greg is unable to attend practices or meets. Suzan Pool may be available.
Old Business
New organization name? Committee will meet soon to decide.
Nonprofit organization/business registry is due by May 15th.
